A Journey Across Time and Space

Smt. Narayani Mukherjee, Artistic Director of Sai Nritya Sangam, is a dance enthusiast. She believes in spreading joy through the gift of dance. Born in Katwa, West Bengal, she started her training in classical Indian dance styles. Throughout the course of her life as a homemaker and mother, she kept her passion for dance alive, which came to full fruition in Columbus, Ohio when she started training in Odissi under Dr. Kaustavi Sarkar. Since 2012, Mukherjee trained as a dance educator and established her own institution in 2016. Her students have showcased classical and contemporary Indian dance styles at local festivals, concerts, and conferences. Her presence in Columbus is regarded highly as a cultural connoisseur shaping young minds and bodies into the ethos and joy of Indian diversity.
